Consulate of Canada
EFFECTIVE IMMEDIATELY, the Consulate no longer allows third parties to submit applications on behalf of the applicant. All applications must be mailed in or presented in person by the person applying for the visa.
Consulate of Argentina:
Effective immediately, the consulate now requires applicants to apply in person.
Consulate of Venezuela:
Effective immediately, the consulate now requires applicants to apply in person.
Consulate of China:
Effective March 11, 2013, a copy of applicant's driver's license is now required for all visa applications. If you have questions regarding this change, please contact a representative at 866.817.6169.
Consulate of Brazil:
Effective October 01, 2012, all supporting documentation issued in the U.S. must be an original and notarized by a notary public. This applies to the visa application, copies of identification, business letters, scholarship letters, and other similar documents.
Effective January 1, 2013, The Consulate General of The Republic of Angola in Houston requires the presence of the applicant for all visa applications. Please call our office at 713-228-0786 to set an appointment to meet with us at the Consulate if you wish for us to submit your application as a third party.
Effective December 19, 2012, the Consulate of Nigeria will not offer Next Day visa processing until after January 1, 2013.
Effective Monday October 1, 2012, the Renunciation fee for India will be increased from $20.00 to $25.00.
Effective August 07, 2012, all persons applying for a passport must complete the application online. Applications must contain the 2D barcode on the upper left hand corner of the form. Applications turned in without the barcode will be rejected and will need to be resubmitted. Handwritten applications are not accepted.
